Pictures of the Drama Queen

Phase one

Phase 2

Phase 3 (well, alright, maybe it won't be so bad to smile at bit)
Phase 4 (Picture Perfect)

Well, I seem hopeless at keeping up this blog...too many stamps and too little time you know! But, it doesn't mean I'm not taking pictures of the kids, because believe me I am. And the lack of Zachary pictures isn't because I don't have any, it's because I refuse to post them on the world wide web because in 99% of them his decked out only in his undies. But, no complaining here, he is totally and completely potty trained, even through the night, so undies all day it is!

So I thought I'd give you a glimpse into our little drama queen's reign. She is quite the thing, let me tell you! No hiding your feelings with this one. This is one photo shoot I did recently and above is her sequential reaction to the whole thing. We have been laughing at her from the time she was born and somehow I don't think we're going to stop:)

Please note the fuzzy booties in the heat of summer that must be on her feet at all times, and the permanent attachment of a fleece blanket and stuffed kitty. Well, the blanket somehow escaped these photos but it is usually right there with the kitty. Sweating or not all paraphernalia must be present!

We are all well, loving the warm days and being outside. Not really much to report but I thought you might get a chuckle out of our oh so dramatic daughter. Hopefully I 'll be able to share some pictures of Zachary soon, I'll have to catch him before he strips ;)

Life...

Well, here are some more random pics for you;) Zachary adores puzzles and this was a special one his Nana 'Ray gave him. Needed Daddy's help but he was so proud to finish it. He is very good at puzzles in general and has done some very advanced ones without much help from us at all.

Ayana is turning into a little girl more and more each day. :( Of course I am happy and so blessed that she is growing up so strong and healthy, but boy do I miss the baby, baby stage. She is full of antics and fun and A-tti- TUDE!! Oh yes....have no idea where she gets that from *LOL*

She and I have been getting over a yucky cold/flu thing and finally feel a lot better today. We've just been at home enjoying some warmer weather, finally. It makes me nauseous to think how close fall is....it's just barely gotten comfortable here....oh well. At least we have a fireplace. Hope you are all well!

Arizona Fun

Yes, that really is a lizard hanging from James' ear. He first caught it and then made it a bit irritated to get it to bite his ear. He says it doesn't hurt at all and the poor little thing just hung there until he put his hand up and it felt it had something under it's feet. Zach was intrigued, though he kept saying, "I don't like it." Ah, the fun you can have in Arizona:)

Catching Up

Ayana in the back yard

Daddy with baby girl in Tuscon
The Great-Grandparents

Zach, Mom and I danced hula at a local retirement home. This was Zach's first performance! He did great and all the elderly ladies loved him:)

I know I haven't been good about keeping up with this blog and I know that there are several of you out there that miss seeing pictures and knowing how we are doing. So, I am going to make it a point to post at least once a week. We have been well...James had a serious injury that turned out not to be too serious and is healing just fine, we went for a long weekend trip to visit family and have been having some warmer days at home so we can be in the back yard. We are all well and oh so blessed. I've changed the settings for comments so it shouldn't be a problem for anyone now. We love you all!

Happy Birthday Baby Girl!

We had a get together to celebrate Ayana turning a year on Saturday. It was a great time...I wasn't feeling well and was thinking about Zach's first birthday and how I was sick on his too! We still had a great time. She loved her cake (though there isn't much in the way of food she doesn't like!) and loved the gift Ayati and Papa got her, her first baby doll. I'm sure it will be loved on for a long time to come. Zach did great, no jealousy or anything, he got to eat cake and icecream so that's all he cared about! We'll do it all again next month for Mr. Zach who will be 3. Yea, don't even get me started.....

Been a long time...

Well, life has been good and busy. I know I've neglected blogging on here...no one seemed to be visiting or commenting. Maybe you just come and look? Anyway...a few pictures for you. Can't believe Ayana is going to be a year. Where has the time gone...seems I am always saying that but with kids I think you are a lot more aware of how fast it actually flies by. James still has a job, thank God and I am pursuing my scrapping more than ever. We are all well and happy. If you've missed me posting let me know...
